The FR-2 Freewheel Remover is designed specifically for disassembling Shimano, SunRace, Sachs, and other types of two-prong freewheels. The tool's spline fits into the small space between the sprockets and the inner wall of the freewheel body. An adjustable wrench is employed to engage the freewheel's locknut, while the side bolt is used to hold pressure on the freewheel.

• Heat-treated alloy tool steel, the one-inch base fits wrench or bench vise. Thin wall construction allows use without the removal of cones and locknuts.
• It fits older SunTour two-notch freewheels.
• Two notches are approximately 25mm across measured outside to outside.
• Always use a skewer or axle nut to hold remover firmly in place.
• NOTE: The SunTour four-notch freewheels do not accept the FR-2 remover. Use the FR-3 for the SunTour freewheels with four notches.
